anything specific that can be improved upon? |
I didn't think of it, but I think it's good to ask the client what they would like played during dinner (non-dancing portions). Paul started out with some contemporary jazz that most clients would probably like, but we're not a fan of....however, we didn't think to specify before the event. Paul was quick to change the music and make sure we were okay with the new music. I appreciated that! |

We both thought Paul did a FANTASTIC job. He kept things going without being too involved or imposing. We thought his performance was very professional, and that he presented his set up so well (his mixer was properly skirted so that there wasn't a mess of wires seen) and he paid attention to detail. His speakers were extremely high quality and several guests said they didn't feel like the music was blasting even when they were right near the speakers. He accepted some requests and was sure to check with us about what we wanted played as the night came to a close - and he made a great flow of music without the traditional coordinated dance songs (i.e., the "Chicken Dance" or the "Electric Slide"). He was also very good about letting us know when we needed to do something and when important things were coming up. All our guests raved about the music and said that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to for dancing! Really, Paul was the best, thank you so much! |
